Who can join?

Teachers, School Heads, Co-ordinators, Educators PreK - Grade 12

Preferably participants who have no or little knowledge of the Google for Education tools. The level 0 course introduces participants to the basic functionality and features of the Core Google Workspace tools including Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Meet, Google Drive, GMail, Google Chat, Google Sites and Calendar.

Google Certified Level 0 Exam Details

Obtain the Educator Level 0 Certificates. All participants will receive a digital certificate after completing the training.

Foundational Skills to be Covered

This level focuses on the essential tools in Google Workspace:

Educational Uses of various Google for Education Tools (lesson planning, feedback, differentiation, note taking etc)

Functionality of the Google for Education Tools (how to create content in each of the tools, save, edit, make copies, collaborate and share)

Features of the Google for Education Tools (creating, commenting, editing, sharing, adding interactive content to slides, creating forms, quizzes, adding/editing questions/preview/View Responses/Charts, creating a class, adding students/teachers, creating assignments, creating sites/adding pages/publishing)

Change Management and Adoption

Google’s educator certification program fosters change management and technology adoption in education through a tiered approach. L0 focuses on building awareness and confidence with basic Google tools, making technology education easier for teachers. L1 promotes deeper adoption by empowering educators to utilize tools like Classroom and Docs for enhanced instruction and personalized learning, providing seamless collaboration and communication opportunities.
