At Tech Valley, we are continuously working to bridge the gap between academia, industry and the government with the help of technology and innovation. Our projects focus on encouraging digitization of the government sector, as well as linking the current businesses with the respective ministries to boost the social impact.
Our Mission
We use Technology to help people build successful businesses, and in the process, we aim to increase positive social interaction. Our mission is to transform the existing landscape of Pakistan by working in six domains: Entrepreneurship, Capacity Building, Education, Government Engagement, Technology & Tourism.
Our Journey
Tech Valley was founded in 2015, with an aim of empowering the tech-talent of the Northern Areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit/Baltistan. Our mission was to transform the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the mountainous regions working in 6 domains: Entrepreneurship, Capacity Building, Education, Government Engagement, Technology, Tourism.
At Tech Valley, we work with private, government and international organizations on numerous educational tech and incubation initiatives. We help the companies engage and work directly with the public sector to harness the power of social impact programs.
Tech Valley turns 8!
Milestones: Tech Valley celebrates 8 years of growth and impact. We expanded our reach into private sector school chains and raised awareness about Google for Education Products throughout Pakistan. Through strategic collaborations with Beacon house, we envisioned the School of Tomorrow. Our partnerships with Gilgit Baltistan and Sindh Education Departments are driving the digitization of government schools. Additionally, we are proud to become a Distribution Partner of Google Career Certificates in Pakistan, empowering individuals with industry-relevant certifications.
Tech Valley turns 7!
Milestones: Tech Valley has had the privilege of welcoming esteemed visitors from around the globe. Notably, representatives from Google visited Pakistan, engaging in fruitful exploratory meetings, fostering new partnerships, along with delightful team dinners. Moreover, as part of our commitment to empowering individuals, Tech Valley successfully conducted training programs for over 3000 women from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Through these initiatives, we equipped them with essential digital skills that enhance their employability. We are proud to report a remarkable 30% increase in their employment opportunities as a direct result of our training efforts.
Tech Valley turns 6!
Milestones: As the partnership with Google for Education and Google Workspace grows, we digitized 7 schools in two provinces of Pakistan amid the COVID-19 crisis under a pilot program. Students were migrated to the Google for Education platform, and teachers were provided training on how to effectively deliver lectures online. Apart from that, we successfully competed and won a public tender to digitize the internal communication and work processes of the National Assembly of Pakistan. With our global partner, GFA Consulting Group, we conducted a feasibility study for digital governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along with E-Governance Academy-Estonia, which was funded by KfW Development Bank.
Tech Valley turns 5!
Milestones: Became an official trusted country partner of Google Workspace, Google Cloud & Google for Education, Started digitally revolutionizing the education sector of Pakistan, Started our own journey towards transforming the Ed Tech sector of Pakistan using Google technologies, Won a USAID Small & Medium Enterprise Award Grant for Tech Valley Services Hub
Tech Valley turns 4!
Milestones: Launched first cohort under Durshal, Partnered with KPITB, Produced 5 startups, Generated revenue worth PKR 4,929,628, Hosted a workshop on The Entrepreneurial Mindset: From Passion to Profit in collaboration with COMSATS University, Launched a Drug Awareness Campaign in KP, Initiative with KP Cyber Emergency Response (KPCERC) that helped in spreading awareness among youth about bullying and cybersecurity Conducted a 2-day training program called Women In Business in collaboration with DEMO and MadLab Hosted a summit which covered training on basic entrepreneurial skills.
