The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, Google for Education, Tech Valley Pakistan, and Allied are proud to launch the Google for Education Center of Excellence at an IMCG Girls' school in Islamabad. This initiative empowers Pakistani educators and students with advanced digital literacy tools.

Over the Years

Since launching our first Google for Education Center of Excellence at ICG, F-6/2 in Islamabad, Tech Valley has expanded the model to Government Pilot High School, Wahdat Colony, Lahore, in 2025, and most recently to CDA Model School, Islamabad in August 2026. Each center is a fully equipped digital classroom built on the Google for Education ecosystem, which includes Chromebooks, Google Workspace for Education tools including Gemini and Read Along, and training pathways for teachers. In these classrooms, teachers receive hands-on training to plan lessons, run assessments and give feedback digitally. Students learn in a connected classroom where they collaborate on projects, get quicker feedback and build digital skills they will need in higher education and at work.

What We Offer?

The Google for Education Center of Excellence is designed to be a central hub for Google for Education for Education training in Pakistan. Here’s how it will transform.

Educators

Comprehensive Workshops: Teachers will receive in-depth training on leveraging Google for Education Classroom, Chromebooks, and other tools to enhance their teaching methodology. Learn how to:

  • Create engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Foster collaboration and communication among students.
  • Provide personalized learning experiences for diverse learners.
  • Utilize online assessment tools for efficient evaluation.

Professional Development: The GCOE will offer ongoing professional development opportunities for teachers, keeping them updated on the latest advancements in Google for Education for Education tools and best practices in teaching with technology.

Students

Interactive Learning: Students will benefit from engaging activities and lessons facilitated through Google for Education for Education tools like:

  • Google for Education Classroom: Streamlined platform for assignments, resources, and communication.
  • Google for Education Forms: Interactive quizzes and assessments.
  • Google for Education Docs & Slides: Collaborative document creation and presentations.
  • G Suite for Education: A suite of apps for creativity, communication, and collaboration

Provides policy support and facilitates nationwide scalability of the program, ensuring its impact reaches schools across Pakistan.

Google for Education

Delivers cutting-edge educational tools and resources through Google for Education for Education and Gemini Academy, a platform for self-paced teacher training modules.

Tech Valley Pakistan

Acts as the local project partner and enabler, leveraging their expertise in education technology and extensive network within the country. They will coordinate training programs, workshops, and provide ongoing operational support.

Allied

Contributes valuable expertise in chrome books and technical support ensuring smooth implementation and maintenance of the GCOE.
