About Tech Valley Pakistan
Tech Valley is Pakistan’s official Google for Education and Canva for Education country partner, based in Islamabad. We work across the public and private sectors — from provincial education departments (Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, KP) to institutions like Beaconhouse, LGS, and TMEG — to deploy Google Workspace at scale and run professional development programmes that build lasting capacity in the education sector.
Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic, execution-driven Project Coordinator to power the on-the-ground execution of a historic nationwide initiative: onboarding 200,000 active users onto Google Gemini across Pakistan.
This project spans 100,000 accounts across K-12 Army Public Schools (APS) and 100,000 accounts across 100+ Higher Education Commission (HEC) universities.
This role is not a desk-bound administrative job—it is about movement building on campus. As the Project Coordinator, you will assist the Project Manager in translating government MoUs and donor expectations into active, daily AI usage. You will be the primary engine running roadshows, managing campus ambassador networks, driving faculty workshop logistics, and ensuring 200,000 IDs convert into active, transformed learners and educators.
Key Responsibilities
- Roadshow & Campus Logistics: Assist in planning and executing the physical/virtual “Roadshow” rollout across 100+ HEC universities and APS clusters nationwide. Coordinate travel, venue setup, and institutional permissions.
- Movement Building & Student Engagement: Build and manage a network of Student Campus Ambassadors and AI Student Clubs across partner institutions to drive peer-to-peer Gemini adoption and host hackathons, competitions, and onboarding drives.
- ID Lifecycle & Activation Tracking: Track deployment rosters for the 200,000 user IDs (100k APS / 100k HEC). Monitor daily/weekly active usage (DAU/MAU) metrics and follow up on inactive user batches.
- Workshop & Training Support: Coordinate logistics for Training-of-Trainers (ToT) workshops aimed at certifying faculty members. Manage attendance, collect feedback, distribute training collateral, and issue digital certificates.
- Institutional Coordination: Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for university focal points, school administrators, and student representatives to resolve operational bottlenecks during onboarding.
- Data Logging & Impact Reporting: Maintain accurate project logs, compile usage analytics dashboards, and assist the Project Manager in preparing progress reports for donor compliance and leadership reviews.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, community management, event execution, or EdTech operations. Fresh graduates with exceptional leadership records in university societies/clubs are encouraged to apply.
- High Energy & Growth Mindset: You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and know how to excite tech-hesitant teachers and Gen-Z students about generative AI.
- Relentless Executer: You don’t just wait for instructions—you identify execution bottlenecks on-site and solve them practically.
- Tech Savvy: Daily user of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and hands-on familiarity with Generative AI tools (Google Gemini, NotebookLM).
- Communication & Public Speaking: Strong verbal and written communication in English and Urdu. Comfortable addressing student halls or conducting basic orientation walkthroughs.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently (up to 40%) to school and university campuses across Pakistan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing university events, large-scale workshops, or community drives.
- Strong command of Google Sheets/Excel for data management and metric tracking.
