Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead and establish Tech Valley MENA’s presence in Saudi Arabia, based in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a critical role in operational setup, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery in alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and national strategies for digital transformation in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage Tech Valley’s legal entity and operational infrastructure in Riyadh, including office setup, local hiring, and compliance with Saudi laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, including the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Ministry of Education (MOE), and other national institutions.
- Represent Tech Valley MENA in strategic meetings, project discussions, and official engagements with Saudi government authorities and educational leaders.
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of digital skills training programs, AI and EdTech boot camps, and teacher capacity-building workshops across Saudi Arabia.
- Manage local logistics, permissions, scheduling, and resource support for training facilitators and program delivery teams.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, public sector grants, and new EdTech initiatives that align with Tech Valley’s mission and the Kingdom’s educational innovation goals.
- Provide regular operational updates and reporting to senior leadership, highlighting project progress, challenges, and recommendations for scalability.
- Champion Tech Valley’s mission to ensure equitable access to digital education and workforce development across KSA and the wider MENA region.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education Leadership, Project Management, or Technology Management.
- 5–7 years of proven experience in operations, government relations, or project delivery, ideally within EdTech, public sector, or KSA’s education/technology ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience working with Saudi ministries, especially MOE, MCIT, or related government bodies.
- Strong existing professional network within Riyadh and KSA’s education and ICT sectors is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and multi-cultural environment.
- Able to travel within KSA for meetings, training programs, and events.
- Fluency in both speaking and writing Arabic
Location Requirement:
Must be based in Riyadh and available for frequent in-person meetings and engagements across Saudi Arabia.
