ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – July 23, 2026 – Tech Valley Pakistan, a digital transformation partner, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Momina & Duraid (M&DF) Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to quality education. Through this partnership, access to digital education across Pakistan will be accelerated by establishing Google Education Centers of Excellence across selected schools in Karachi managed by M&DF. This joint initiative aims to digitalize learning environments, enhance institutional technical capacity, and equipping students and educators with modern tools to thrive in an increasingly digital world.
A core focus of the collaboration is capacity building through tailored Professional Development (PD) training programs. Educators and administrative staff will undergo hands-on training covering primary productivity tools, including Google Classroom, Docs, Drive, Sheets, and Meet; alongside advanced Artificial Intelligence tools such as Google Gemini AI and Gemini Notebook. The rollout will also introduce Chromebooks as a core learning device, giving students hands-on access to reliable, education-focused technology.
As a part of collaboration, Tech Valley Pakistan will also ensure deployment of Google Workspace for Education, provisioning Google IDs for students, faculty, and administrative staff across all nine school locations. To guarantee seamless adoption and long-term sustainability, Tech Valley will provide ongoing IT support and technical assistance.
Duraid Qureshi, Director, Momina & Duraid Foundation stated, “At the Momina & Duraid Foundation, our mission has always been to drive meaningful social change through accessible, high-quality education. Partnering with Tech Valley allows us to modernize our supported schools with world-class digital tools. Giving our students and teachers access to Google Workspace for Education and advanced AI tools will create new learning potential and bridge the digital divide for communities that need it most.”
“Our collaboration with the Momina & Duraid Foundation is a crucial step toward democratizing quality digital education in Pakistan. By establishing these Google Education Center of Excellence and integrating next-generation technology like Chromebooks, Gemini AI, and Gemini Notebook, we are empowering educators and building the digital skills our youth need to excel in an AI-driven global economy.”, said Umar Farooq, Founder & CEO, Tech Valley Pakistan
The committed Google Centers of Excellence will serve as hubs of digital learning, providing students and educators with continuous access to Google’s suite of educational and AI tools, along with ongoing technical and training support from Tech Valley.
Both organizations expressed optimism that the initiative will set a benchmark for technology-driven educational transformation in Pakistan, with the potential for future expansion to additional schools and communities.
