KARACHI, Pakistan – September 22, 2026 – Tech Valley, in partnership with Google for Education and the Momina & Duraid Foundation (M&DF), officially inaugurated a dedicated Google for Education Corner at Ibn-e-Insha Primary School in Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) Gulberg, Karachi.
The state-of-the-art facility is designed to bridge the digital divide in underserved public schools by granting students access to Chromebooks and Google for Education’s suite of digital tools. Through this initiative, young learners will engage in AI-powered, technology-supported learning experiences utilizing platforms such as Google Gemini, Read Along, and interactive educational resources tailored to foster early digital literacy.
The inauguration ceremony brought together key decision-makers, global partners, and local government officials dedicated to transforming public education infrastructure. The attendees included Umar Farooq, CEO, Tech Valley; Duraid Qureshi, CEO, HUM Network Ltd. & Trustee, Momina & Duraid Foundation; Tim Paolini, Country Lead Partner, Google for Education; Aron Jackson, CEO, Allied Australia; Heath Cutting, Managing Director, Allied Europe; Mr. Nusratullah, Town Chairman, TMC Gulberg; and Aisha Qamar, Deputy Director Education, TMC Gulberg.
Highlighting Tech Valley’s ongoing commitment to building a digitally inclusive Pakistan, Umar Farooq, Chief Executive Officer of Tech Valley, shared his vision for public school transformation by stating, “Every child, regardless of their background or socio-economic standing, deserves access to world-class educational tools. This joint initiative underscores a shared vision among Tech Valley Pakistan, Google for Education, and M&DF to eliminate technological barriers in government schools. Following this launch, the partners plan to scale the concept by establishing similar technology-enabled learning centers across other public-sector institutions managed under the Momina & Duraid Foundation’s network.
