SINGAPORE, November 5, 2026: Tech Valley has been honored with the Award of Appreciation for Excellent Partnership by Google for Education at the Google Partner Summit APAC 2026 in Singapore. Umar Farooq, Founder and CEO of Tech Valley, received the award on behalf of the team on one of the region’s biggest stages for education technology.
The recognition comes on the back of Tech Valley’s partnership with Google for Education to bring digital transformation to public and private sector institutions across Pakistan. Tech Valley has helped schools, universities, businesses and government bodies adopt modern digital tools, and equipped educators, students and professionals with the skills to use them well. Alongside skills, Tech Valley has worked to make sure access is not left behind, bringing affordable Chromebooks within reach of learners and institutions that need them most.
Tech Valley’s work has focused not only on who gets access to technology, but on how well and how safely it is used. It has championed the responsible use of AI in classrooms and workplaces, and worked closely with parents, teachers and children to build safer online habits at home and in school. It is this combined focus on access, skills and safety that the award recognizes.
“This award belongs to every teacher, student, parent and institution that has trusted us to bring technology into their classrooms and homes,” said Umar Farooq, CEO, Tech Valley. “Our goal has always been simple: technology in Pakistan should be affordable, safe and useful for everyone, not a privilege for a few. Being recognized by Google for Education on a regional stage tells us we are on the right path, and it pushes us to reach further, from cities to the communities that need these tools the most.”
Tech Valley extends its gratitude to Google for Education for its continued trust and collaboration, and to its partners across government, academia, industry and civil society, both in Pakistan and globally, whose support has made this impact possible. Tech Valley remains committed to building a digitally skilled, safe and future-ready Pakistan.
