ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – September 24, 2026 – Tech Valley, the official local partner of Google for Education in Pakistan, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) to spearhead the digital modernization of the nation’s premier sport. The MOU was signed by Umar Farooq, CEO of Tech Valley, and Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani, President of the PHF, in a ceremony joined by key global tech and industry leadership, including Tim Paolini, Special Initiatives Lead, APAC & MENA at Google for Education, alongside representatives from Allied.
Under this strategic framework, Tech Valley will serve as the official digital transformation partner for the Pakistan Hockey Federation, leveraging Google’s advanced technology ecosystem to lead national sports administration into a modern digital era. The initiative focuses on establishing a resilient, tech-enabled operational setup that enhances administrative efficiency, supports data-driven athletic growth, and elevates the global footprint of Pakistani hockey.
A core focus of this digital transformation includes the deployment of Google Workspace to establish secure, standardized communication channels across PHF administration, regional associations, and selection committees. Furthermore, the partnership will pioneer a centralized Digital Player Performance & Talent Database. This system will track player metrics and fitness progressions from the club level up to the National Team, utilizing Google Cloud Analytics and AI capabilities to assist coaches in analyzing match performances and opponent strategies.
