Tech Valley AI Academy, TMR Wing, and Sindh Government Partner to Drive Smart Governance Through Next-Gen Public Leaders AI Bootcamp

KARACHI, Pakistan – August 31, 2026 – In a step towards digital governance and public sector innovation, Tech Valley AI Academy, in strategic collaboration with the Training Management & Research (TMR) Wing, Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (SGA&CD), Government of Sindh, has successfully conducted the “Next-Gen Public Leaders AI Bootcamp.” The intensive capacity-building initiative aimed to equip senior and junior administrative leadership across Sindh with cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence capabilities to drive data-informed decision-making and modern public service delivery.

The comprehensive 6-day, 26-hour hands-on training program was held at the TMR Wing in Karachi, bringing together Google AI Master Trainers to train over 120 civil officers. Participants included Senior Civil Leadership (Grade 18) and Junior Officers (BPS-17), representing a diverse range of administrative bodies, including Provincial Management Services (PMS) Officers, Assistant Directors of Local Government, and Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) from across the province.

Designed under the philosophy of enabling officers to “work faster, not harder,” the bootcamp integrated advanced digital workflows into daily administrative duties. Over the course of the curriculum, officers mastered AI Prompt Engineering for administrators and gained practical experience using tools like Google Gemini and Gemini Notebook. The program focused on accelerating standard administrative operations, such as drafting official notes, briefing documents, and policy summaries in minutes; synthesizing complex government manuals, and performing dynamic data visualization without reliance on complex manual formulas.

“Artificial Intelligence is no longer just a tool for the tech sector; it is the backbone of modern, responsive governance,” said Umar Farooq, CEO of Tech Valley. “Our strategic partnership with the Government of Sindh demonstrates how civil service leadership can leverage AI technologies like Google Gemini and Gemini Notebook to reduce bureaucratic overhead, enhance transparency, and drive efficient public delivery. By empowering officers across Sindh with these tools, we are helping build an agile, future-ready public administration.”

As part of the ongoing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and long-term commitment to human capital development, Tech Valley also provided 150 Google Career Certificate scholarships to civil officials to foster continuous digital learning and professional growth beyond the bootcamp.

“Empowering our provincial administrative officers with next-generation digital tools is critical to achieving smart governance across Sindh,” noted a Senior Official from the SGA&CD, Government of Sindh. “This initiative with Tech Valley AI Academy has provided our civil leadership; from local government to law enforcement, with practical skills that directly translate into time-saving workflows and clearer, data-backed policy decisions for the citizens we serve.”

The successful conclusion of the Next-Gen Public Leaders AI Bootcamp lays a strong foundation for ongoing digital transformation initiatives across civil departments in Sindh, reinforcing the province’s commitment to building a digitally proficient government machinery.
