ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – June 12, 2026 – Tech Valley, Pakistan’s leading education and digital transformation partner behind the country’s roadmap for localized AI education, has collaborated with the U.S. Mission to Pakistan and the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) for a landmark five-day business accelerator, “E-Commerce and Digital Trade: Building Pakistan-U.S. Economic Partnerships.”. Held from June 8th to 12th at the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) headquarters , this intensive masterclass transitioned more than 50 Pakistani entrepreneurs into fully operational global digital exporters. Beyond conventional lecture-style training , the program functioned as an applied, hands-on accelerator where participants leveraged advanced generative AI platforms alongside premium Google ecosystem to build live international storefronts, establish reliable payment pathways, and map out structured six-month export roadmaps.
The masterclass brought together entrepreneurs selected from a highly competitive national pool of applicants. Over five sequential days, this diverse cohort, spanning heritage crafts, agricultural exports, fintech, software development, and the Internet of Things (IoT), was guided by nationally acclaimed trainers and technologists, from core business diagnostic assessments to fully operational, global-facing digital storefronts.
By embedding targeted modules from the prestigious Google Career Certificates (GCC) alongside hands-on engineering in Google Gemini and NotebookLM, it ensured the curriculum met rigorous, industry-standard modern demands. This seamlessly links with Tech Valley’s broader vision for digital inclusion, building upon the 250,000+ GCC scholarships deployed across Pakistan since 2022.
“At Tech Valley, we don’t look at technology as a mere educational topic, but as national infrastructure,” said Umar Farooq, CEO of Tech Valley Pakistan. “Our goal in designing this masterclass was proving that when you equip local entrepreneurs with localized, advanced AI tools like Gemini and robust digital storefronts, they don’t just participate in the global market; they redefine it. The true success of this program will be measured by the cross-border digital pipelines these alumni build and the sustainable jobs they bring to their communities.”
The masterclass featured an exceptional lineup of top-tier industry practitioners and guest experts who provided rigorous technical and operational guidance. Key training segments included:
- E-Commerce Operations & Prototype Lab: Led by Fahad Malik (Founder of Lumu.pk), guiding participants through live Shopify store deployment, inventory management, product validation and live demo of Facebook and TikTok advertising.
- Global Payment Ecosystems: Facilitated by Usman Alam (Co-Founder of Scale Squad), focusing on navigating the $6.8 trillion global e-commerce market and integrating alternative platforms like Payoneer to overcome international payment barriers.
- The Export Mindset & Scalability: Led by Ather Imran Nawaz (Advisor to the Chairman of Lakson Group), challenging attendees to treat technology as critical infrastructure and build interconnected systems capable of driving international revenue.
- Digital Brand Positioning & Funnels: Led by Sehrish Kanwal (Founder of Digital Umbrella), training the cohort on structuring the “DM-to-Sale Funnel” and adapting brand messaging for key international markets including the U.S., UK, UAE, and Australia.
The program concluded with formal capstone presentations, where every single participant emerged with a functional digital storefront, a comprehensive Six-Month Export Roadmap, and a dual-signed certificate from Tech Valley and the U.S. Mission to Pakistan.
“The certificate these entrepreneurs earned demonstrates they’ve met American standards in digital commerce,” stated Andrew Halus, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim at the U.S. Mission to Pakistan, during the closing ceremony. “The United States is Pakistan’s largest export market, and thanks to the systems put in place by Tech Valley, these alumni are now fully equipped to access it.”
As Tech Valley continues to scale its digital transformation footprint across the MENAP region, this masterclass is a testament to its position as a premier ecosystem integrator capable of moving an entire generation of entrepreneurs from local survival to global digital export mastery.
