Feasibility Study on Digital Governance

The German Development Bank (KfW) has contracted a consortium led by the GFA Consulting group with the implementation of a feasibility study for a digital governance project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In this endeavor, GFA is supported by the E-Governance Academy Foundation from Estonia and Tech Valley Pakistan. 

Objectives:

  • Assessment of current digital initiatives of KP Government
  • Engaging the right stakeholders to study the existing challenges
  • Potential financing in the IT sector, including digital infrastructure and employment

Digital Government Summit

Tech Valley, in collaboration with Google Cloud,  hosted the Digital Government Summit at the President House. The event engaged various federal ministers, industry leaders, policy and decision makers. The aim of this event was to address and discuss the importance of cloud technologies in effective governance.

Objectives:

  • Bridge the technology gap in the government sector
  • Focus on more efficient and citizen-centric delivery of services
  • Build a strong foundation for data-driven governance

MOITT Fellowship Program

Tech Valley Pakistan joined hands with the Ministry of IT & Telecom in order to collaborate in different initiatives such as entrepreneurship, information technology, capacity building and skill development programs. A World Bank Funded Fellowship Program was announced to introduce fresh graduates to public offices in order to enhance their exposure.

 

Objectives:

  • Bridge the gap between academia and industry
  • Help fresh graduates gain professional experience and
  • Boost the pace of growth in developing the ICT sector of Pakistan

Ministry Of Railway Fellowship Program

Tech Valley, in collaboration with NUST and The Ministry of Railway introduced a Fellowship Program to give fresh graduates opportunities to work with the ministry at the managerial level and expedite processes along with enhancing their interpersonal and communication skills.
